Great school! The school overall has taught me a lot when it comes to dealing with things on a personal level. However, they lacked college readiness. This school is more sheltered, you do not get the feel that you get in public high schools.

My son beat me at chess. I knew he was in chess club and was excited and I hadn't played in years, so we went to the store and bought a nice chess board for the family. First game we played, I didn't stand a chance! Simply amazing. I'm glad he's being so well taught.
We didn't really understand the charter school system when we enrolled our kids at Universal Academy. We found out that at least there the tuition is free! It's basically got the feel of a private school but without the price. Great teachers and classrooms.
