I enjoyed a lot of the accelerated courses I took! The teachers genuinely cared about the well-being and mental health of the students that they were interacting with every day. The only reason I rated the school four stars instead of five is because of the lack of effort I have heard the general and some CP teachers have put in. Most of the courses I took that were not required, but I instead took as electives, I learned next to nothing from! Overall, the required education was very good for me personally, and I am extremely glad I was able to build strong connections with some of my teachers. I know that after I leave for college, I will be able to contact them with any help or questions I have!

This school had a lot of opportunities, such as a various courses of electives and had great teacher. The diversity in this school was great, and all students did different activities. An example is how all the Hispanic cultures can together for one day, and had a cookout outside the school parking lot with Spanish music playing and different foods being given out to all students. The cool thing was that all different people would bring their flags such as Mexico, Costa Rica, and even Brazil. Not on did the Hispanics celebrate their culture, but so did the Burmese people with them playing volleyball every Thursday. The only bad thing I would say about this school is that they really did not help me prepare for scholarships for college, which is very needed.
My experience at United Township High School was challenging. All my teachers treated me well and I got good grades. I made friends and I lost friends. Yes high school does change you for the good and worst. I have always been a nice and respectful kid. I unfortunately was peer pressured and ended up getting suspended. It was my fault and I took full responsibility. It was an eye opener and changed me for the better. The school was understanding and supportive. Did not set me up to be successful in applying for college. They don't tell you so I will. Yes you need at least 2 years of a foreign language, you should take math all 4 years and science, and do not take a study hall. It takes up credits you could've earned, and join at least one club because it looks good on your college applications. Lastly I will say good luck, remember that high school is not everything, don't eat the lasagna, and I promise it gets better.
