Excellent teachers in all departments(a little bit less in math) and a great amount of resources to help students succeed. One problem a lot of students seem to have is with the administration and their involvement with the students feeling not so genuine and setting up a lot of pointless activities. Not a lot of diversity at our school either. Our sports teams are great and provide opportunities to kids to get better because we have great coaches who don't get paid enough. Overall I've had a great experience at unionville and I feel prepared to take on college.
Review Unionville High School
Unionville High School in general focuses on getting into college so they tell us from day one that colleges like to see sports on our applications. So student involvement in sports is really big, a lot of students play sports and a lot of sports are offered--even women's rugby! Since it's made such a big deal by our advisors the students in turn make a big deal about going to games. There's not much around us so going to sports games is the thing to do. We have incredible trainers and coaches, because it is a pretty big deal.
Unionville is known for their high academics and it's because of the teachers! I had the greatest teachers ever and they were all passionate about what they taught, cared about the understanding of students, and went above and beyond to not only make the classes interesting, but truest help is digest the information.
