Amazing!Oldest gained amazing self confidence and leadership skills as a pres of 2 clubs, varsity athlete and Natl AP scholar after jr year(passed 9 AP's after jr year 13 after sr yr).Quality of AP and gen ed instruction can't be overstated. He just graduated Stanford U BS and MS degrees in 4 yrs (less then 2% of Stanford grads are able to do this). Was a leader on the campus+ is off to WashDC after writing a book with a US nl security advisor.Success is directly attributable to the excellence at TVT,nurturing faculty and learning how to approach and work collaboratively with adults!A dual education format with up to 8 courses that really prepares each student for success at the next level!2nd son is on pace to graduate USC in 3-3.5 yrs+exceeded all expectations we had in HS again because of faculty support.I have a current 8th student- the school has only improved since older boys attended!State-of-the-art Eng, Math+ Film.Truly a blessing to have #1 US Jewish school in our community!

I have learned many morlas at TVT and have been given the opportunity to learn from some of the best teachers in their fields. One of TVT's biggest teachings is how to approach an adult and ask for help. TVT has taught me that it is more than okay to ask for help as we have teachers that are so readily available to their students. The students at TVT make this school so amazing. With these kids in my classes, I know that when I need help, everyone will be willing to pitch in and help me succeed. I also know that when I go to college, these will be the people that will be my life long friends. The jewish values stressed everyday makes this school welcoming, and gives us a desire to continue our jewish practices beyond high school. one flaw, however, is the hebrew department. The work in this class is often tedious and does not truly help teach the important words needed to go to have a conversation. Overall, TVT is an amazing school, and I am going to miss it so much next year!
While TVT supplies students with the academic readiness to attend college, the school focuses on the esteem of the school and test scores over the individual success of the student. TVT selectively provides an environment to promote its slogan "academics are important, character is paramount." Several members of the community are disappointed in the current administration's method of handling student affairs and creation of lively and fun student experience. Additionally, the school seems more devoted to fitting an image of the "ideal school" full of diverse students, upgraded facilities, and reputation in place of the school's ideals and position as a Jewish private school. While the administration does have opportunities for students to give honest feedback and opinions, they are often times ignored and/or blocked off. For academics and preparation for college, TVT does a superb job. For student experience and adaptability, it's severely lacking in comparison to public schools.
