If you'd participate in class and showed a genuine interest in their lecture, the teachers would try to make their classes fun and engaging.

Be weary though, I caught the teachers talking ill about other teachers on several occasions.

In regards to their athletic department- Tustin High School prioritizes anyone that plays Football- during Football season the entire school will go out to support the men. Meanwhile, the girls that play softball, soccer, tennis, lacrosse or any other sports rarely ever receive the same support. I definitely think the school has a major bias towards male dominated sports; i believe that they should incentivize their students to support the other athletes on campus.

On another note, I found the school lunches to be absolutely disgusting. Through out my 4 years at Tustin High, I only ate there twice- typically, the school would offer burgers, pizza, chocolate milk or fruit. I would have loved to see more plant based alternatives being served.

I enjoyed Tustin High School so much! It made my high school experience enjoyable not only because of the opportunities it provided, but also because of how multicultural it is and accepting. Everyone feels like an equal and is able to receive a great education as well. The sports are amazing and the teachers are there for you and care about who you are. I fully recommend Tustin High School.
The first day I attended Tustin High the only person I really knew was my older brother Cole. My mom had recently moved to the Tustin area and my brother had to transfer to Tustin High School during his sophomore year. I grew up about thirty-minutes away in Anaheim and I was starting high school with no one I grew up with. As nervous as I was, there was an overall calm and welcoming feel to the school and staff. Withing a few weeks, I began learning more faces and more names. Being on the baseball team was also a big help because I could always talk to my teammates if I needed anything as well. Flash forward four years and I am glad everything had happened the way it did! Tustin High made me branch out of my comfort zone and meet people I would have never met otherwise. It is a very diverse school that has also influenced the way I look at people for the positive. Anyone that has the chance to attend Tustin High should jump at the opportunity.
