Going to school the past 12 years at Tuslaw have been the best I could’ve had. Being involved with the band and multiple clubs I couldn’t ask for a better school and groups to be a part of. The teachers at Tuslaw aren’t just teachers they care about you and your fellow classmates. For your fellow classmates, you will always have your school drama but students at Tuslaw for the most part are all acquaintances. Anyone looking to bring your children to Tuslaw, please do, and if you are looking for a job come to Tuslaw.
Tuslaw High School is a small school with bigger school opportunities. There are many ways for a student to get involved and be successful. In terms of college readiness, there are many college-prep courses and College Credit Plus courses that a student can take. As a senior, I have found these courses extremely helpful and they have really prepared me for college-level academics.
I loved the teachers at Tuslaw, very understanding and encouraging! While I was down they picked me up. When I needed a helping hand they extended both of theirs to me. I could go on and on about how amazing things are there but there is one fault, the students. Within the school there are cliches like nobody's business although everybody knows everybody you are pretty separated among your peers.
