The TCC experience is something I will never forget. Tuscarawas Central Catholic is not just a school, it’s a family. At TCC the students are your siblings, the teachers and staff are your mentors, and the school is your home. However, I would not be the first to admit, TCC is not perfect. Just like with any family, there are problems that I hope will one day be solved. At TCC, and probably many other schools, your last name means everything. Your last name determines your position on a sports team, not your skill. With some teachers, your parents involvement with the school can determine your grades, regardless of your actual scores. TCC has room to improve, but even if I could do it again, I would still choose TCC. To me TCC is home and has shaped me into the person I am today.

The school is very clean, reputable, and close-knit, and the teachers are very welcoming and dedicated, but the administration is horrible. I cannot count the number of times my child has come home complaining about the lack of information he receives about academic opportunities and scholarships. I strongly believe a large part of the fault belongs to the Principle and guidance counselor. My child has felt personally victimized and criticized by the guidance counselor for even asking the smallest question about school. Very disappointed a person with such a lack of professionalism would be given a position as a guidance counselor.
It was a good school for academics and has a great community! Everybody around you has one goal in mind and that is for you succeed.
