I'm now a senior at Turner highschool, and for the most part I've had a good experience. Most of the teachers love their job and are very well at it; as well as amazing college opportunities that are given to me! However, I believe that some rules are really ridiculous, such as the school not allowing shorts or skirts shorter that 4 inches above the knee. I understand that school is somewhat of a professional area, but Texas heat is horrible and most students walk. Meals are not good at all, and they do not give us the caloric intake that we as young adults need. Funding is awful when schools in the same district have better finding that we do. All in all the energy and opportunities are great, but quality of the school itself is pretty mediocre if not awful.

Honestly, In my opinion Turner High School is such a great school. Teachers and staff help out a lot when a student needs help on anything. Yes, of course I would recommend this school to anyone! There's great and nice teachers whom help and hear students out when they need help with school related things.
It’s an okay school. Some teachers are very good and others are terrible. The best thing about the school are the programs available to prepare students for their interests. I’m working towards becoming a surgeon so I’m in BIOMED now know as Public Services and we have the option to get certified to become a pharmacy technician, nursing assistant, EMT, and more. There are also programs for those who want to be photographers, filmmakers, or pursue a STEM job.
