Tunstall High School is very highly regarded for its' academics. Students who take advantage of opportunities that they are given are ready for college their senior year. Some of Tunstall's administration lacks organization and skill to do their job. The guidance department has no clue what they are doing, except for Mrs. Daniel. The food is okay, they will not starve you, but it is not the best. The teachers are wonderful, they work very hard, and they definitely do not get paid enough. Most of they have not gotten a raise in fifteen years, I'm being serious. Absolutely no diversity, or culture! We have an okay variety of clubs. We have Beta, Interact, Quiz Bowl, fishing club, Art club, French and Spanish club, and DECA. Sports are okay, we are really good at baseball. Our football and softball teams are not very good. Have little to no resources, because the administration. Most parent are not involved, because most of them do not care.
Tunstall is a very good school, I graduated a year ago and miss being there more and more everyday. I made great friends due to clubs and new classes. I enjoyed all my teachers and it was a great learning experience. The FFA club was one of my favorites, I loved all the trips and projects. Any one attending Tunstall present day should enjoy there days while they last because they sure do go by very quickly. My parents always told me that I need to enjoy my four years in high school because they will be the best years of my life. I surely realized this my first week in college. I will for the rest of my life remember the great times I had when I attended Tunstall.
Tunstall's medical branch is limited to one elderly nurse. She can't really help anybody unless it can be remedied with sleep, water, or ice. Our security is fine. We have an officer at the middle school and high school. The officer at the high school is irrational and acts as if he can make us do what ever he wants. There have been hints of racial discrimination protruding from him. Tunstall has installed a plethora of new cameras, but I'm not sure if anyone even uses them. Tunstall High and middle has always been especially careful with visitors. Unless the students have a note and a phone call has been received then they are going nowhere.
