Our school is such a unique experience, and I wish everyone could share it with us! Students can rely on teachers in time of need whether it be emotional or academical. The environment that both the staff and administrators provide strengthens the school spirit to the max. Everyone is different, and everyone is able to express themselves through the variety of club activities the school provides after, during, and before school. The safety of the students and school is always taken into consideration thanks to the principal and the superintendent! :)
I moved to Tuloso-Midway in 8th grade. I remember the day I moved to TM like it was yesterday. Transferring to TM as a new student was scary, but the teachers, staff, coaches, and other students made me feel like I was at home. TM understood how scared I was about transferring to a new school and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and heard. TM took all of my opinions and suggestions and created things with them. I admire how open TM is to all of my new ideas and how welcoming they are to new students. I am now going into my senior year or 5th year at TM, and I’d like to say I have made the right decision choosing to transfer to this particular school.
Tuloso Midway gave me the best highschool memories I could ask for and I wouldn’t have changed anything regarding that. However, in preparation for my future career there were classes that I was not able to take due to a scheduling conflict and I wish there were more flexibility around that. Besides that, there is a wide range of options for students that have decided their career paths and I think the school provides a huge opportunity for students to get a head start.
