Tucker High School represents the community around it, it is a diverse school which allows for you to feel welcomed, regardless of whatever group you’re from. During my 4 years of school, I was able to make long lasting connections with the teachers, achieve great grades and enjoy the atmosphere of a Football School. I enjoyed the cultural diversity that was celebrated and welcomed in Tucker High School. I made friends with people from all over the world, from Korea to Ghana! Our staff was wonderful, one of our custodians even appeared on the Steve Harvey show for her efforts to battle student homelessness. Though my time included many wonderful memories, I would love to see the school change for the better. There is a real need for more opportunities for scholarships and/or college advice, resources for students; more field trips, more tutoring classes. I would love for the faculty to stress the importance of parent involvement and try to encourage more parents to be involved!

As a parent, my experience with my daughters school, and teachers has been superb! At each grade level her abilities had been recognized, and subsequently, she was encouraged to excel academically, as well as with sports.
Consequently, she is now more motivated to think about her future and college with serious aspirations.
She's realzing what she wants out of life and how she now believes she can achieve her goals.
This direction, awareness, was given all without telling her what or how to think, but to begin thinking for herself what a wonderful future she could have if she would pursue excellence, and how she is now in control.
I could not have wanted for a better outcome for my daughter regarding her experience with her school, Tucker High, and her Teachers!
It was fine, I wish we focused more on the arts and music programs, but I enjoyed going to sporting events too. Tucker provided me with a unique experience to be a minority. Our school is very diverse and welcoming to refugees, and we celebrate all of our nationalities annually through our International Night event. This is always a big event, and I love it because it gives students a chance to perform cultural dances and songs to the community.
Our administration has struggled with communication, that's the one downfall about Tucker. But the staff members that truly care about the students and community never fail to express their consideration, and that's what encourages me to do my best. Tucker is not only a place to learn, it's a place to thrive socially, culturally, athletically, etc.
