Tucker High School has a place for everyone on campus, it just has to be searched for! Extracurriculars are plentiful and sports are still fun, although the teams are not very good. Some of the teachers are lovely, while others are not the best, and it is always a toss up. The school is extremely diverse, and a student can always hear a different language being spoken in the halls. Three specialty centers are offered here, along with AP classes, offering any caliber of learning a student could want. One can do as well as they want, or as poorly as they want here. The resources are offered most of the time.

One thing I like about Tucker is that it is extremely diverse. I have all types of friends that range from different ethnicities and cultures. For example, I have two Asian friends that are Vietnamese and also a German and Italian friend. My experience at Tucker thus far has been a major learning experience. Each and every day I'm learning new methods on how to better my skills in order to be a more effective student. I can definitely thank the program (Advance College Academy) that I am in for keeping me on my toes for improving my character not only as a student but to become a better person overall due to the challenges it gives me. To provide reasoning for me giving J.R Tucker High School an overall three stars falls on me taking a while to transition to its difference from middle school.
It's just the fact that JR Tucker is a greatly diverse school, and the outdoor campus is amazing! It gives students a chance to get a catch of sun while moving in between classes and during lunch breaks! I would definitely choose this school again if I were to start all over; there a great programs here (Advanced College Academy, Tech center trips, International Baccalaureate, World Language Immersion program, rigorous AP classes, great Honors classes, and more!), there's great staff, and where ever you go on campus you are sure to come across so many diverse, welcoming, smiles! Not to mention the clubs and organizations that make going to school, even more fun!
