I love Tuacahn! I have grown so much in academics, the arts, and in learning to become a leader. I feel like I am more prepared for a college experience, because of the opportunities we have here to create, think critically, and lead. Tuacahn is hands-down the highest quality of an arts education in the state of Utah, because of the incredibly qualified teachers here at Tuacahn and our partnerships with Tuacahn Amphitheater and the Utah Conservatory for the Performing Arts (COPA). I highly recommend Tuacahn to any and all people interested in pursuing the arts or learning new talents!

I’ve seen a lot of change and growth through multiple administrations at THSPA. The last 3 years have finally started the school in the direction that it has needed for a long time, to become a full performing arts school. The implementation of things like Harvard Instructional Rounds to improve instruction, master classes, new AP courses, students working w/ TCA, and a huge positive school culture shift by students and staff, has put THSPA on a path of discovery and success like never before. The teachers work very hard and care deeply for the students. The students are discovering new things each day, focused on growth opportunities, not failures. This is the place to be for students striving for academic and performing excellence!
Tuacahn high school offers a unique experience to explore so many different areas of art: Visual art, digital media/animation, theatre/musical theatre, music, music production, singer songwriter, dance, improv, ballroom. The list goes goes on. Tuacahn is home to one of, if not the best, guitar program in the state; They’ve gotten superior ratings at several competitions; locally and out of state. Tuacahn’s Shakespeare team consistently scores in the top 3 at the Shakespeare competition. Most recently in 2018 they had a monologue and a two person scene score 1st at that competition. The Improv team also took first in the Jesters competition in there first time competing. Additionally, our ACT scores are easily at pace with the district. Another unique aspect of Tuacahn high school is its association with the regional Tuacahn Amphitheater. Each year the spring musical is the big amphitheater stage used by Tuacahn center of the arts. That experience is amazing and like none other.
