It is a decent school, not amazing but not terrible. There’s not a lot of diversity and many students won’t hesitate to make your life miserable for the first two years. There is a lack of clubs and other extra classes such as foreign language, but due to the fact that it is a 3A I cut it slack.

I participate in tons of extracurricular activities such as volleyball, basketball, track, UIL and cross country. I have gotten to know the extracurricular program very well within my years of high school. It is a very good organization that cares about the well being of the students participating. The sports organizations are very hard working yet, the coaches make it enjoyable for the student as well. Also, in the academic extracurricular such as UIL, the teams are very hard working and do the best of their abilities. The coaches take the time to teach the students the information and support the students.
The community is very supportive in everything we do. It is wonderful because the teachers and parents make sure that everyone succeeds and has a bright future. In all the extracurricular activities the whole town is very supportive. Even if our sports are not that of exceptional level, we always have a wide array of supporters. Our FFA department is the most successful program in the school and those teacher are just part of the examples of the teachers who go above and beyond. One of my favorite experiences was being able to be apart of apart of the athletic department, but I would have to say my favorite way being apart of the robotics club. We had pent countless hours developing a mining robotic company and got to present our business in front a group of judges. It was such an honor to be apart of the club and I wouldn't trade those long hours writing reports for anything. I would most definitely choose my school again, because I made so many wonderful memories I would trade for anything.
