TSMV is a beautiful community. The academics are rigorous and thorough, giving students a better education than most college graduates would have, but learning is treated as something good in itself, not just a means to an end. Teachers and students alike are eager to learn for the simple joy of learning, so that even the most challenging subjects become a delight. The students care for each other, and teachers care deeply about their students.
For a small school, Trinity's extracurricular activities are incredible. The choirs are amazing, sports performance is really impressive, and clubs are flourishing and creative.
I can't recommend Trinity enough!

I think Trinity really cares about the students on an individual level. All of the teachers were invested in not only the academic success of the students, but also in the lives of the students. The academics were advanced, but there was a great support system with the teachers and other students. Because of the small student body, there was a large sense of community. Students knew each other on a very personal level and were able to be fully involved in each others lives. At times, Trinity could have been more flexible on some things. However, overall, they really cared about the school and the students.
Trinity has an amazing culture. They stress being a community of learners, and really achieve that. Students are genuinely interested in academics and the teachers are intellectually curious. There is not the same us vs them mentality beteeen students and teachers as you see elsewhere, and the school is astonishingly non-cliquish. While of course there are kids who others like more than others, kids are not excluded--the kids who is awkward is like the awkward brother or sister who you hang out with because he is part of your family, not ignored. The shook is very intentional about culture. Academics are amazing--the reading list throughout high school looks like a college syllabus. We love the school!

It is a small school and they seek diversity, but it is hard for them to attract a lot of minority students. They manage the Catholic/Protestant divide very well and students gain an understanding of other Christians.
