Trinity School at Greenlawn Reviews
Rating 4.05 out of 5 22 reviews
Education at Trinity is about human awakening- awakening students to the debates and discoveries that have shaped Western society, in both the humanities and the sciences. Trinity's humanities curriculum covers a wide range of literature, philosophy, history, and primary texts, and teaches students to think deeply about these subjects, not just in the context of the class, but in their lives in the school community and beyond. Close teacher-student relationships provide students with models for how to live examined, meaningful lives. The faculty really are excellent. Seniors coming out of Trinity are, for the most part, thoughtful, kind, conscientious, and eager to learn. What Trinity could improve on is a disturbing undercurrent of social conservatism in the school's policies on male and female relationships and queer sexuality. This is seen more at the administrative level than in the daily life of the school.
I loved going to school here! I was challenged and pushed but my teachers were all so supportive in their efforts to make me a better student. I learned so much about discipline and time management. Not only did I become a better student but, I also became a well rounded person. Trinity has no electives so every students takes all the courses! I never would have suspected that I would enjoy physics as much as I did!
After attending this institution for 6 years, I have realized how poorly diverse this community is. The administration allowed little room for students to find their own identity and express it.
