Trinity Lutheran School Reviews
Rating 4.47 out of 5 17 reviews
I've been at Trinity Lutheran School since I was in preschool. That says a lot about how amazing Trinity is. Throughout elementary and middle school, I really loved the culture of Trinity and how I felt I knew everyone in the school. I knew the high schoolers from going to their awesome musical performances, I new middle schoolers from having classes and bonding time with them, and I knew elementary kids because of how involved middle school was with elementary. I feel like the only thing that really went down hill as I got older was the culture, and that is to blame on COVID. We had to build a new culture, but this time with a couple hundred new kids, so it became overwhelming and not as family-like as it was before. However, the high school's rigorous classes and wonder sports and music programs made it easier to bond with other students. Now that I am preparing for college I feel as though I am more ready and ambitious about college because of how amazing Trinity is.
Trinity guided students in a manner which was very effective in preparing them for college. However, Trinity being a small school meant few resources such as AP classes or sports teams, counselors or outside knowledge of the world. The religious aspect of the school creates a very tight knit community, which can be a great thing if you are Lutheran and also attend the church or participate in school activities such as the musical, choir, or sports, however it can be detrimental at times if your faith doesn't align with the Lutheran beliefs.
My son went to Trinity Lutheran School from pre-k to 6th grade and it is one of the best decisions I have made. With chess club, and basketball my son excelled. He has made life long friends and the teachers are amazing, we considered them family. The one on one time that your child will receive is amazing.
