Trinitas Christian School Reviews

Trinitas has a great objective in mind when it comes to students learning how to learn. However, it is extremely intense with none thing to bring a smile to the kids’ faces in or out of the classroom. If your student wants a social life and involvement, then I do not recommend this school. The clubs are very very few. The sports teams are great on the other hand. The players learn great discipline and the coaches personally relate the disciple of activity to the disciple of the spiritual walk.

There is a quote by author David Hicks plastered to walls of the school in various and sundry places, which reads, "“...the end of education is not thinking; it is acting. It is not just knowing what to do; it is doing it. The sublime premise of a classical education asserts that right thinking will lead to right, if not righteous, acting.” I can think of no better thesis for the school. Does this mean the students and teachers are perfect? Absolutely not! But that imperfection is what precipitates a serious strive for perfection at this school. We strive for right, and righteous, acting together, even though we make make many mistakes. My friends have become brothers and sisters, and my teachers are my closest mentors. There is no school I would have rather spent my young life at.
Trinitas is a wonderful school to be surrounded by the classics and be nurtured in the Word of God. All this being said, no school can be perfect when it is filled with imperfect people. You are always going to find flaws in the system and it would be unrealistic to say that the school is perfect in every way. However, the education is different than you will find in any other school. The classes are discussion based which is crucial to understanding concepts and the teachers are extremely devoted to making sure that their students succeed. Overall, my experience has been incomparable and has prepared me well for college.
