Trinidad Garza Early College High School Reviews
Rating 4.15 out of 5 195 reviews
The classes and teachers are amazing, they teach well and help students who are determined pass their classes. This school has allowed me to have many opportunities to think about my future and has helped me become a better person overall. The only downside is that there are no sports teams available, you have to play for your homeschool team.
My experience at Trinidad Garza Early College High School has been superlative and beneficial. This school has a lot of resources to use as a student and expands the networks to be efficient in our careers of choices and skills. What I like the most about Trinidad Garza ECHS is the campus on which it is located in. This campus is in a college campus which provides all the necessities we may need in school, extracurricular activities, and our careers of choice. As well as the staff members who help us with decision making and career paths. This campus is filled with many clubs of different interests that help us with skills and our mental health.
From all the four schools that I have attended, Trinidad Garza ECHS has to be my favorite one by far. What I love about this school is that students are given the freedom that they want, while at the same time having their classes as their main priority. Teachers at this school are one of the most motivational people ever as they help students individually and know how to keep students engaged and focused.
My experience at Trinidad Garza so far has been very good. It is really beneficial to me because I will be graduating with an associates degree and high school diploma. This will help me out in the long run when I am attending a university next year. Taking college and high school classes and college classes is not as hard as it seems to be, but you do really have to prioritize your work sometimes. It was definitely a different experience from what you would get at any normal high school because you are taking classes on a college campus. Some things that I would like to see change are maybe add some sports teams so there can be more school spirit.
While some classes are hard and the whole early college thing is stressful, it is worthwhile. The school is also really clean and is on the Mountain View Community College Campus which makes it better for when college classes start.
My experience at Trinidad Garza was beyond amazing. I felt very comfortable studying there and was pushed to do my very best all the time. The teachers are wonderful. They always want their students to succeed and try to do anything they can to help make that happen. Garza is my second home and it is like we are all family there.
An amazing school for students that are willing to work hard and graduate high school along with an Associate's degree (of science or of arts) through Mountain View College -DCCCD.
Garza is a small school with about 100 students per grade level. I would say that it is a very good school because it is easy for you to communicate with your teachers a peers because of the size of the school. You could say its a small community where everyone one of your teachers knows who you are and care for you and want to see you succeed. I would rate Trinidad Early College high school a 1000/10 if I could. This school is very underrated and should be acknowledge more.
My experience here at this High school was good. We have really good teachers that care about your education and we have a college experience since we are inside a college.
It is an amazing school. The class sizes are small therefore we are able to have 1 on 1 experience, and we are able to obtain more information easier. The teachers are very caring, and they are willing to help you succeed as long as you are willing to work. The school is a small campus therefore we are able to make friends easier. We also take college classes, therefore, teachers take that into consideration, so they try to apply the lessons we are learning from our college classes into their lessons for the high school.
I love the opportunity given at this school as students can complete an Associate degree while completing a high school. Times can get stressful but the Garza staff is like family and will always be there to support their students.
Trinidad Garza is an Early College High School, meaning that students will be taking college courses while taking high school classes. This program is really good because it guarantees students will graduate with a high school diploma as well as an associates of science or arts under Mountain View Community College. My experience here has been overall 10/10.
Attending Garza was a decent experience, there’s a lot of room for improvement. Though I do feel like I’m adequately prepared for the university experience.
Trinidad Garza ECHS is an amazing school because of the various opportunities it provides to its students. Student there have the chance to graduate with both a high school diploma and an associates degree. The school also teaches its students to be independent and responsible because the institution constantly pushes individuals to do better. The school is mostly composed of minorities and individuals of low income who, if it were not for early college education, might have little to no chance of completing college. Many scholars there are first generation college students. In fact, many parents of these students do not have a high school diploma. Trinidad Garza ECHS is a school that motivates everyone, it’s students and faculty, to have positive ambitions so that individuals can be successful in life. The school also give back to the community in several ways that many regular schools do not. Many students and staff are active in organizations that are meant help its community.
i love my school because the teacher are really focused in the education of each student. Every teacher develops a close bond with the student and it helps create a good environment to teach. Learning is very easy and i do not regret joining that school.
I loved the small amount of students that attended this school. It really made us all closer without realizing as we all grew up together. The teachers here were all amazing and caring. I am always amazed how such good teachers decide to be in this early college. I am a senior and I do realize how much I have saved by getting an associates degree at Mountain View.
The most prominent thing that i loved about Trinidad Garza Early College High School was the fact that it was a dual credit school. This specific and very much so unique factor of the school has helped me and various other alumni and currently attending students because its giving them the chance to experience college first hand. This is something that proves to be very helpful for when people actually go to their respected college because not only would they have the experience but they'll also have the college credits at the ready to be transferred into their schools.
