Trinidad Garza ECHS is an amazing school because of the various opportunities it provides to its students. Student there have the chance to graduate with both a high school diploma and an associates degree. The school also teaches its students to be independent and responsible because the institution constantly pushes individuals to do better. The school is mostly composed of minorities and individuals of low income who, if it were not for early college education, might have little to no chance of completing college. Many scholars there are first generation college students. In fact, many parents of these students do not have a high school diploma. Trinidad Garza ECHS is a school that motivates everyone, it’s students and faculty, to have positive ambitions so that individuals can be successful in life. The school also give back to the community in several ways that many regular schools do not. Many students and staff are active in organizations that are meant help its community.

My experience at Trinidad Garza so far has been very good. It is really beneficial to me because I will be graduating with an associates degree and high school diploma. This will help me out in the long run when I am attending a university next year. Taking college and high school classes and college classes is not as hard as it seems to be, but you do really have to prioritize your work sometimes. It was definitely a different experience from what you would get at any normal high school because you are taking classes on a college campus. Some things that I would like to see change are maybe add some sports teams so there can be more school spirit.
Trinidad Garza Early College High School is an academically challenging school, that prepared me for college through the many AP courses and the college courses at Mountain View College. Although there were no athletic activities or many clubs and activities, the staff support and close knit community of the small population is the best part of the school environment and benefited me the most. All of the teachers show genuine care for all students, making the extra effort to make sure we are taken care of and that we take advantage of all opportunities open to us. My overall experience at Garza has been very positive, I owe a lot of the opportunities in my life to them.
