I love the community of Trillium Academy. In my nine years at this school, I have never felt like a number. The teachers, though their turnover rate is rapid, are incredibly invested in their students, academically and personally. No student goes unnoticed at TAHS.

Trillium is also great for students looking for an opportunity to practice leadership. Attending a K-12 school allows high school students to gain leadership experience with the elementary students. They even offer a mentoring program where students K-5 are paired with a high school student to meet and build a relationship once a week. Definitely don't see opportunities like that at a typical public high school!

I have gone to Trillium Academy since I was a sophomore, and I have had an overall very good experience. The teachers are very good at their jobs and teach things that are very helpful to know in real life, along with the standard curriculum. However, something that could be changed is that the administration could crack down a little bit more on some very disrespectful things that some students say when they talk about both teachers and other students. It can, at times, make the school environment a somewhat unwelcome place to be, and students who are bothered by this usually don't have their voices heard. However, it is overall a very welcoming place to learn.
I've had a horrible high school experience because of the education and food. The thing that really set me over the top is that this school can't keep teachers. I've had three Spanish teachers, four math teachers, three ela teachers, and 2 PE teachers. My friend Alexis has gotten food poisoning from the school food before.
