Fairly high income district with many parents who have positions in the Omaha area just 15 miles away. Students have good manners, are well behaved, have excellent extra-curricular activities and are motivated and are also very active participants. Thirty percent of the students are open-enrolled "in" from other nearby districts which indicates the quality of the district. This is one of the highest percentages in the whole state of Iowa. Excellent staff, outstanding facilities with the latest being a new 500+ seat theater. The public has supported recent bond issues by as much as 75+ percent each time. A large number of graduates earn several college hours credit taught by local teachers and/or by attending nearby Iowa Western Community College part time. Three teachers have been recognized in recent years for their
expertise of instruction by an area organization.

My experience at Treynor High School has been an unforgettable one. The teachers and staff truly want each and every student to find success. This applies to not only the present, but also for the future. The teachers here value the education of all of their students. They are always there to assist you if you're struggling with something, whether it be educational or personal matters. Treynor has a great variety of activities to be involved in. From sports to music, there are a lot of different options to choose from.
Treynor also has a very good community with great students, but one thing I would change about this school is its diversity. I think the school should start pushing towards providing education for various communities and people from different backgrounds.

I had an alright experience at Treynor. There is almost no diversity whatsoever which made it a lot worse than it should have been, and the administration, college readiness, and resources are lacking. Some of the teachers and staff members are excellent instructors, and athletics and culture are great at this school though.
