TCA used to be a school where you would had to physically pull me out of. TCA was a school I called home and I wasn't the ideal school enthusiast. TCA had fun activities, fun people, positive people and administrators. TCA was an actual family.
Now, TCPA is a place I do not look forward to. The minute the school got removed from the Diocese of Trenton, everything went downhill. Teachers don't want to work with their students. Teachers makes the students teach themselves and get upset when we don't understand a topic. We have to walk into a place with negative adults and peers. Favoritism is popular at TCPA and it is sickening. I never wanted to leave a school so badly. There is no effort being put into this school and I always wonder why this school is still open. The academics are getting worse each day and we barely have any resources. Teacher belittle students (I am a victim of that) for absolutely no reason.
I can speak for many students when I say TCPA is no longer a family.

Hi, my name is Arianna Alexander, and I go to Trenton Catholic Academy, a Catholic-based school. My experiences at TCA has been a very exciting rollercoaster. My school has definitely prepared me to be a hardworking person. What I love about my school is the acceptance of other cultures and religions.
My school has a week dedicated to students who want to embrace their cultural backgrounds. On this week students have different days where they can bring in some of their favorite foods to eat they might have on a special holiday or occasion. We also have a day you can wear attire that represents your culture, and even speak in a language that they are accustomed too in our daily prayer. This is a really special week for all students to represent a special part of them.
A change I would like to see at my school is lower tuition for families who want a better education for their child. My school has such a great opportunity for students to thrive as they develop their own identity.

Coming from Africa, a third-world country, and into Trenton Catholic Academy, I was welcomed warmly and kindly. I adapted not only to the new school curriculum but to the American culture in a school with the help of this school. It is has been three years since I started my new life here and I do not regret a single thing. I owe all my achievements, academically and athletically to the Trenton Catholic Academy community. As I go into college I am confident in what they have instilled in me over the years. I will miss this school dearly and I am proud to be an alumni.
