I came to this school my junior year (currently a senior) and I love it. The faculty are all amazing and truly care about each and every student. The only downsides I would mention are mostly due to the small size of the school. I enjoy having smaller class sizes, but a limited amount of students also means less available classes to take, like AP classes or electives. The social climate can also be difficult to adjust to, and students can be very cliquey, but the friends I have met have been really great. Overall, very happy I made the switch!
I have been attending TOL for many years now. TOL is an okay school, but it needs some work. One, there are really no good opportunities. What I mean by this is that there are hardly any classes to choose from, and you're basically stuck with doing the same things every single year. Second, they don't really put any effort into sports. Coaches usually seem not experienced at all. Third, the school does not set priorities straight. Our building is overall super small, and there has been little to no effort put in to try and somehow accommodate and make it better. Money is usually put into other things that aren't as important. The whole school environment is not pleasant to be in, and it feels like a camp due to the lack of time put into making it look nice. Lastly, the kids are NOT friendly. When brought to the attention of the staff, it is not taken seriously. I think this is an okay school, but it needs a lot of work, I personally do not enjoy being here.
I really loved attending Tree! The teachers there are so great and genuinely care about their students. Their academics are excellent but more importantly, they teach you the truth and freedom that comes from Christ!
