Towson High School offers numerous AP classes taught by excellent teachers that challenged and prepared me for college. I liked how most teachers are approachable and friendly. This allowed the school environment to be more casual and fun. I also saw that most of my fellow students are responsible and self-disciplined. They healthily balance their studies and social lives. Also, the school's theatrical productions are a must see! There are many talented singers in this school! There are many clubs to pick from and to meet new people. Overall, Towson High is an excellent school for those who want to be surrounded by a positive environment while being pushed academically to be ready for their college life.

Towson is great! Aside from the small amount of the population that finds destroying bathrooms is in their interests, the school is kept up very well. The music program is probably the most developed department, and they have a great reputation at the county and state levels. I've also enjoyed my time and participation in the Law and Public Policy Magnet program, which is lead by our wonderful advisors Svetlana Wright and Julie Kromsky.
It was an amazing school regarding overall academics, although some departments were much better than others. The science, English, and social studies department were consistently great, while the math department had their good and bad teachers. The world languages department was the worst by a long shot due to the teachers and curriculum being taught. Personally, I had a great high school experience but administration could be very ineffective, especially when it comes to disciplinary action. There were several instances of racism involving my classmates that the school did not address, as well as biased punishments. The Law and Public Policy magnet program at Towson was amazing however, definitely the best part of my high school experience.
