Tomball High School is a great learning environment but it is also filled with fun school dramas such as fights. Most teachers are loving and really care for the students. Everyone has so much school spirit and the new hour that we got for lunch/tutoring called "cougar block" was super helpful to study or just to take a break. Principal Scott is very involved and is very easy going and understanding. Anyone to attend here is lucky!

The school itself is not terrible, in fact, I made many life long friends here. However, the administration is very overbearing, and tends to take things a bit far. The atmosphere of the school does tend to be kind of country, so it's not the most accepting environment for specific minorities. This school does offer a lot of AP classes, and tends to prepare students very well for their AP tests in May. They offer a lot of college credit for students interested in obtaining credits before leaving for college. There is a pretty widespread use of drugs throughout the school, and the administration doesn't really do anything about it but lock every bathroom in the school except the one in the cafeteria. Guess which one most students tend to avoid. However, despite all of that the faculty is very knowledgeable of the subjects, and enjoys helping students succeed in their subjects.
I enjoy seeing the collaborative diversity amongst my peers at Tomball High School. Always being encouraged to work together to solve problems and build a stronger community is this school's number one objective. The trusting relationship between the student and the administration is one that is not difficult to establish. The teachers and staff make it their number one responsibility to support the student and maintain a comfortable environment that can sometimes feel overwhelming to newcomers. The many clubs and organizations they provide make it easy and fun to socialize with others, create lasting friendships, and explore our creative passions.
