Tohickon was overall a great experience and I'm very grateful for it. I met many of my friends there and there are so many memories there. I do think I could have been more prepared for college. Once I got to high school, I had to teach myself how I learned best by trying different note taking styles until I found one that worked for me. And I had to develope better studying habits in order to retain the information I had learned. Tohickon was academically outstanding, I just think they need to develope their college preparation and study habit skills more thoroughly.

Students are able to get involved in many different activities. Tohickon offers a wide range of sports and at least one for every season does not have cuts. Students who are not involved in athletics can get join the musical, select choir, select strings, or jazz band. Tohickon also offers a gardening club and different activities throughout the year, such as Iron Chef. Majority of the students are white, but there is not a lot of discrimination against other ethnic or racial groups. Peer pressure within the school is very little to non existent. Students can always go to their counselors with concerns.
Tohickon makes sure every student feels safe when they come to school. There are monthly activities to increase awareness about bullying and many guest speakers come in to talk about drugs and online bullying. Teachers, staff, and counselors are always there to talk and make students feel safe and welcomed. Fire, evacuation, and intruder on campus drills are performed throughout the school year to make sure every teacher and student knows what to do in case of an emergency.
