Tohatchi High School is a very family orientated institution. Parents and administrative staff worked very closely to create a peaceful environment for the kids. The teachers are very welcoming and helpful. Though the school offers various subjects with the inclusion of dual credit courses, it lacks the availability of AP and IB courses which could be of benefit to kids who are very advanced. One major issue I had with the school was the lack of diversity. Other than that, Tohatchi High school was a great experience and offered me a space to grow and prepare for my future educational career.

I’m a sophomore at Tohatchi High School. I also went there for my freshman year as well. It is great because it’s a small school where everybody knows each other and it’s a very comfortable environment. I like that it’s in a small unknown community and it’s isolated from the rest of the county.y dislikes would be the type of school it is, because it’s so old and we don’t use the whole school anymore due to some of the conditions in several of buildings. I also don’t like that there’s not that many electives to choose from due to low funds. Overall I rate it very good because it has excellent teachers and outstanding athletic teams.
I liked that the school was very welcoming at first and everything was simple and not complicated. The faculty was helpful enough to make me wanna further my education into college.
The improvement the school needs is more electives, to give students an opportunity to try something new and to have options.
