From TMI Episcopal

Welcome to TMI Episcopal! Founded in 1893, TMI is the Flagship private school of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. It is located in San Antonio between the greater downtown area and the city of Boerne. TMI educates students in grades 6-12 and is the oldest Episcopal Church-sponsored, college-preparatory school in the Southwest. At TMI, we focus on teaching students in small classroom settings, allowing a great deal of interaction among students in class and an opportunity to develop close, personal relationships with our faculty members. Our academic community is warm and inviting. We believe that self-esteem is earned through hard work and determination, and we are committed not only to the success of our school, but also to each individual at TMI. All students who enroll at TMI can choose to attend as a day student, or students in grades 8-12 can enroll in 5-day or 7-day boarding on campus.

TMI is an incredible private school that values not only quality education, but also community service, student leadership, and good sportsmanship. I'd say all the students grow to be well-rounded individuals with every advantage at succeeding in life. Unlike Keystone that focuses, in my opinion, too much on academics, TMI focuses on the overall happiness and well-being of its students, while providing an engaging environment for student life and college-preparatory education. The campus is absolutely beautiful, and because the school is relatively small, students are trusted to act like adults and given freedoms and opportunities you won't find at other schools.

Great school because of great parents, great teachers and a great headmaster. There are lots of opportunities for kids to do extracurricular activities and volunteering. School is blessed with some extraordinary teachers who really care about their students. Daily chapel is another uniqueness about this school. Administration is very good about making sure academics is well balanced with extracurricular activities and spiritual life

Walking around this school is like being on a small private college campus. In addition, teachers are supportive of students in every way imaginable. Unlike other students at my university, I was prepared for college and able to maintain a 4.0 without trying very much.
