Welcome to TMI Episcopal! Founded in 1893, TMI is the Flagship private school of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. It is located in San Antonio between the greater downtown area and the city of Boerne. TMI educates students in grades 6-12 and is the oldest Episcopal Church-sponsored, college-preparatory school in the Southwest. At TMI, we focus on teaching students in small classroom settings, allowing a great deal of interaction among students in class and an opportunity to develop close, personal relationships with our faculty members. Our academic community is warm and inviting. We believe that self-esteem is earned through hard work and determination, and we are committed not only to the success of our school, but also to each individual at TMI. All students who enroll at TMI can choose to attend as a day student, or students in grades 8-12 can enroll in 5-day, 7-day, or flexi-boarding on campus.

When TMI works for you, it works. But if it doesn't work, be prepared for an awful experience. In regard to many parts of student life, the school seems to be playing it by ear. This is likely because the administration keeps changing. As a 7-year student, I outlasted nearly all administration members and a fair amount of the faculty. There's not much stability at this school, with much of the progress being almost based on whims. One year it's a STEM school, the next it's a sports school. I'll give credit to the teachers for being the best part of this school. They genuinely care about the kids they teach.

The worst part is the support for students' mental health. I needed support during my sophomore year, and I was ignored until I ended up in the hospital. The school tried to make amends and said they would be more mindful of mental health, but I just found out they have recently kicked out a student who was suffering with their mental health, for that sole reason. Not ok at all.

It is such a warm community and has an amazing learning environment.The curriculum is above average with teachers pushing their students to be the best. The competitive academics are also exhilarating because there is always a challenge.I love how the teachers and staff are very caring.They always put the students metal health first which makes a huge impact.All teachers are exceptional in their field and are highly qualified.Every student at TMI is unique and is celebrated for it by others.The giving at TMI is also a virtue that welcomes everyone warmly. It is a culture that we"do on to others as we wish to be done to us."This results in a close community that gives and gives. Whether it be to TMI or the city around us, the TMI community always finds a way to leave a good impact. The sports has grown in the past couple years as well. With multiple sports being State runner ups, we will sure be back next year with our panther spirit.With all this being said, TMI is the place to be.

I transferred to this school halfway through my Junior year, and honestly, I am impressed. The people are amazingly nice, the staff is supportive and the environment is conducive to learning. We have the ability to take a variety of AP classes, and I will be graduating with 10 Ap credits.
