T.L. Hanna has changed my life. I have had the freedom to access anything I need to complete my work, and I have been able to talk to an administrator at any time during the school day. I have been given the resources that I need, and my teachers have always been a great help! Administrators build relationships with students, therefore the students can feel comfortable with being in the school. T.L. Hanna puts their students first. That means that when there is a problem, it is confidentially resolved. I recommend Hanna to any rising ninth grader. The school environment is safe, friendly, and fun!

I liked the band at TL Hanna, the teachers really cared about their students success! I also appreciated the personal relationships that the teachers had with their students. One thing I would like to see changed is, the administrations attitudes towards the band. I would like to see more emphasis on other activities other than football. Most of those kids will not play in college...just saying.
Change is important. T.L.Hanna needs to change. Four years ago, I entered as a freshman under the instruction of principle Hilton. She was a remarkable woman. She cared about her students. She understood what it was like to be a student, so she did her best to make school something I didn't dread. A year later, she retired. Shawn Tobin, another highschool's previous principle, became my principle. Ever since then, my high school worsened. The arts program was swept under the rug. The school experienced racist events. The athletics program was more of a priority than anything else. In fact, most of the money we had gone towards new football equipment. This is unacceptable. A school is a place that should prioritize learning. It should be a welcoming environment for all people. It should encourage young people to be created and think outside of the box. I believe that change is the most necessary thing for this school. I hope one day, T. L. Hanna can become the school it used to be.
