Throughout my high school experience at TL Hanna, I always felt connected with my peers. There was never a dull moment in the halls. Everyone is incredibly cheerful and full of pride! Friends and close classmates share jokes and laugh together. Everyone is very focused on their academics as well. Most of the students form study groups throughout the school year and reflect on the classes that day. Students at TL Hanna always form a close bond with the teachers and fellow staff as well. They're always there to lend a helping hand and always providing guidance when needed. Teachers and staff always go above and beyond to make students time there feel extremely welcomed. No matter the background or history, TL Hanna is always welcoming and will always be a family.

I actually enjoy school and I think one of the main reasons is that we have really great teachers! Not only the teachers are super nice but our principal is usually on track of what happens and it makes me know I’m safe! As a fellow Latina I do feel that we could make a positive change and make a small celebration for hispanic month, just like black history month.
My experience at T.L. Hanna High School has been very pleasant personally. I feel that the teachers there are actually very dedicated to helping their students succeed and understand the learning. I also feel that the school is very dedicated to helping their students find paths that individually work for them. However, there is an issue with a lot more funding going to sports related activities than arts and music programs or even academics in some cases. The administration is very concerned with students making the school look good, so students in classes other than advanced placement or honors courses are often not given the same opportunities as those who are. My personal experience there has been very good, but I do recognize there are some issues that could prohibit that being the case for every student.
