I've attended Tioga ISD since I was in PK, I am now currently a Senior with one semester left to graduate. I've experienced my school change throughout the years. Tioga grew at a fast rate and is now about 4 times its size in 2005. Reasons for this is Tioga graduated it's first high school class of 2016 since the 1950s when the high school burnt down and it began offering free dual credit classes. Also, I've had the chance to be a part of my school's volleyball team where we earned it's first ever State Volleyball Championship, and it's first ever State Championship. What I like about Tioga is its caring teachers, successful academics and sports, free college credits offered, and most of all that our senior class of 2018 will be the first-ever graduating class to walk through the new replica of the old high school currently being built. Also, I’d like to see a variety of foods to pick from during lunch since some of the foods are not all that great.

It's a small town, but the district is really good. The volleyball team has made it to State, and in 2016 won the State championships for 1A schools. The UIL academics teams have made it to State and won for several years, and next school year (2018-2019), the high school will be a 2A school. In high school, students have the option to participate in an Early College program, allowing them to graduate high school with their high school diploma and an Associates degree.
It was great being at such a small school where everybody knows everybody. It was easy to form great relationships with all my teachers and coaches. All of the staff members wanted what was best for you and wanted you to succeed.
