Tioga High School has been a very positive feel and environment. The teachers and faculty promote school spirit and education. The support and encouragement I've received from my school has impacted my life to make better choices. Without their influence, I'm not sure that I would have considered attending college. My favorite class was Biology. Mrs. Bell made science so interesting it influenced me to decide to pursue a Marine Biology degree. I realize now how the experiences through the years there have molded me. I can see how the teachers have prepared us to think for the future. The school not only provided and encouraged me to care about education, but helped me gain friendships that will last a lifetime.
Pretty diverse school, cons would be administration doesn’t push students academically. Main focus is usually dress code or behavior. Way too strict on discipline for dress code. Teachers could be more encouraging in the classroom, and less worried about if they are doing their job right. Most students struggle getting to school on time because of how early it starts, and how it’s not convenient for parents who work. Sports a lot of time show favoritism towards those liked by coaches and cost way too much. It is a pretty decent size campus and there are many clubs and sports to join for those interested.
