My experience for the most part has been positive. I haven't been bullied, I enjoy the classes, and I am motivated to participate in extracurricular activities. My only negative experiences were with group projects and moving through the hallways. In a previous class that I didn't have friends in, we were expected to make our own groups for group projects -- this would be awkward for me because everyone else got into groups with their friends. Moving through the hallways is sometimes a struggle because large groups of people enjoy standing around in hallway intersections so they can talk. This means other students are forced into a very small walking space. I would love to see more teacher-selected groups and more orderly hallways.
It has been a rollercoaster moving through Timberlane. Over the years, I have felt like I had to figure things out and hold myself up alone. It has been a challenging 4 years, but I feel proud I got through it.
The teachers have been nothing but supportive, minus the few but that comes with every school. Honestly, I'd say the teachers I've had have helped more than guidance or admin did. Meaning looking for jobs, colleges, scholarships, personal advice, etc. I have felt unsupported especially during senior year with things like graduation requirements, credits for classes, etc.
Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend this school for anyone looking. I felt like there wasn't many resources that could actually help, and it made me crash and burn. The teachers and myself had to revive my academics and achieve greatness.

I had a great 4 years of High school there. I met so many lifelong friends and created so many friendships with teachers and counselors. Some of the teacher though, had an impact on my learning and hoped all my teachers could have taught me the same way. Senior year, i didn’t enjoy some of the changes that came on due to the behavior of the children. Overall though, i will never forget my years at TRHS.
