I am currently enrolled as a senior at this school and have been going to this school since my freshman year. Throughout the four years of attending this school I have noticed, that like other schools, Timberlake puts more emphasis into athletics. This has caused a decrease in the support and funding of the arts. The lakeland school district has passed several levies to support our schools, but there seems to be no improvement within the school facilities and the art departments. While Timberlake has its faults the staff is amazing; the teachers there seem to genuinely care for their students as they not only care about the material being taught but also for their students mental health and well being.

Timberlake high school was a small school with a lot of positive energy and a wonderful staff. I enjoyed my time there even though it was cut short. Even though it was overall wonderful I would change a few things about it. I think there should be better sports equipment and fields for our athletes and a better stage for our actors. Those are things that can be changed. My time at Timberlake was a great time for myself, even with all the hardships that come with being in highschool.
The four years I spent at Timberlake, was one of the best times of my life. I made relationships with my peers that taught me so much about friendship and myself. My teachers always pushed me to do my best and I could come to them with homework problems or life problem in general. Of course not all the teachers were perfect, and I wasn't close to all of them but the teachers reached all students and every student had at least one teacher they could go to. The school is like a family and I couldn't have had better
