I loved my high school experience. I was in choir, we were one of the top, volleyball, forensics, and drama club. I liked that I had challenging classes because I was better prepared for some of the college courses I have taken. I'm not sure if the same teachers I had are still there but if they are you are in great hands. I wish it wasn't so athlete focused, by this I mean if you were an athlete you could get away with pretty much anything. I also would like to see letter jackets given for choir, band, forensics etc and not just for sports. Schools in the neighboring towns did this and we were always jealous! I really like the irving system as well. It was cool to be able to take classes with kids and teachers from other schools and it gave diversity to the classes offered.
Tigerton School worries about the smarter kids that have a chance at a good life, rather than the ones that need the extra help.
