Overall, my experience at TCHS has been positive and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Our school is growing and is now a 7A rating, with almost 600 students in the graduating class this year! The school is constantly changing and growing to promote skills that will benefit all students after graduation. This past year, every student regardless of need, was assigned a Chrome book laptop to use both on and off premises to help aid in schoolwork and introduce some to the world of technology that otherwise may have been left behind.
Though TCHS has a multitude of sports and clubs to enter, the main draw is football. If one wants to join the football team, he will be well taken care of by the school and community. If one participates in any other sport, it can be very costly and therefore exempts many potential athletes from participating.

Tift Count High has been a great school in it's entirety. The staff truly cares about the students' education. My teachers have all developed great relationships with their students by being almost like second parents. The staff there really pushes students academically and athletically to go beyond their limits, to prepare us to be independent and strong when we go off to college. There are clubs for every interest: chess, quiz bowl, math, Spanish, etc. Not to mention the great athletics the school offers!
One thing I have loved about attending Tift County High School is that there are many opportunities for all students to find something that they are interested in. We often have club days and club fairs to present to the student body how many different things we offer. This allows all students to get plugged in somewhere they feel like they belong. However, with this being said, sometimes we put too much emphasis on certain things as opposed to others. For example, we tend to put lots of focus on athletics and not as much on the performing arts or academic clubs. Overall, I have had a great high school experience at Tift County High School.
