Tift county high is school is okay. It is a fairly dirty place with mixed teachers. Some teachers are good and care about their students and others, not so much. There is value when it comes to extracurricular activities and clubs and the dual enrollment program is a great way to get ahead.
I really enjoyed attending Tift county high school. For being a rural high school it is somewhat diverse and the education is exceptional. The only problem I have ever encountered was their response to some bad weather days and the COVID-19 pandemic. They really rushed reopening school in the wake of the pandemic and did not really do all they could to keep students in faculty safe. However, The staff and students at Tift county high school have made my high school experience great and I would do it all over again if I could.
Overall, my experience at TCHS has been positive and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Our school is growing and is now a 7A rating, with almost 600 students in the graduating class this year! The school is constantly changing and growing to promote skills that will benefit all students after graduation. This past year, every student regardless of need, was assigned a Chrome book laptop to use both on and off premises to help aid in schoolwork and introduce some to the world of technology that otherwise may have been left behind.
Though TCHS has a multitude of sports and clubs to enter, the main draw is football. If one wants to join the football team, he will be well taken care of by the school and community. If one participates in any other sport, it can be very costly and therefore exempts many potential athletes from participating.
