What I like about Thurgood Marshall Stem High School that the teachers connected with the students on a personal level and that got to help the student in the classroom and outside of school, but what I didn’t like what the pay rate for the teachers. The pay rate were and still is low to where most of our food and great teachers have to leave because their not making enough money to provide for there families and daily expenses . What also didn’t like and had problems with while I was in school was resources ; we didn’t have enough books or books for that lesson of that month .

I been to Thurgood Marshall all my 4 years of high school and I love the environment and specially the school spirit ! I participated in cheer leading and we cougars are one of the best cheer squads in our city. there's no doubt about not making new friends because more than likely you'll find someone that could be a good close friend to you like I did my freshman year. The best part about Thurgood while I was attending there was that the principle was very supportive in every student studies and personal lives also. If you needed someone to talk or even needed advice our principle is all ears. You'll have a great experience attending Thurgood Marshall high school.
Thurgood Marshall consisted of staff who really cared for their students. My experience there was efficient enough to do well in my classes but due to other students, it wasn't the best experience that I could have had.
