Thunderridge highschool was a decent school overall. However, the Diversity was not there and the funding for music and art programs was cut back resulting in a decrease in class options. The safety and security was very good compared to some of the others schools along with the schools resources. The schools science programs were significantly better than the math department which used outdated text books and had teachers who seemed to only care about AP classes. There were many great clubs at this school however, some of the clubs accepted were questionable, pushing boundaries between church and state, along with political views. Overall Decent school

I love the close-knit feeling in the school you experience through fun events, sporting events, and activities. Homecoming week and wish week are planned extensively and try and involve every student to give them a chance to show off their talents. They value family and school spirit and fortunately have many resources that can help students learn efficiently. They have the expected bullying and drug use which is at almost every high school, but suicide prevention is the major thing I wish they focused on more because I believe that is the root of many problems. They need to educate students on mental health more thoroughly.
This high school was difficult for me to succeed in, due to the lack of attention and accommodations given to students with physical and emotional issues. I have anxiety disorder, and I wasn't given opportunities to work in more comfortable environments. Others students with my disorder or similar issues dealt with the same treatment. Bullies were given little to no punishment, essentially allowing them to get away with their antics. Victims of bullying were virtually payed no attention to. Some teachers were very rude and impatient, which caused some students to be distressed and fail. That being said, there has been some amazing teachers, some of which I've befriended and felt close to. The school has good spirit, and there are plenty of ways to get involved through clubs and activities. My experience with Thunderridge High School has been rough, and I personally wouldn't recommend attending this school.
