If you're an average kid or had an IEP before you came into TRMS, then it's a decent school. The teachers work VERY HARD, and the mental health/social workers/support services folks do a FANTASTIC job. But certain folks in the administration seem bent on maintaining status quo, ignoring kids who need help and avoiding adding help to anyone who isn't already an identified need or who might be a challenging student.
I've had three kids here. One of my kids has been very tough to identify her/his needs. He/She was even turned down for an IEP. After outside testing showed the challenges she/he had, it still took a great deal of effort to get him/her tested and on an IEP (complicated by COVID closures).
It has been nothing but fighting (including seeking legal counsel) with this school to get my kids what they need. No longer have confidence in Cherry Creek's ability to help my kids; they seem more interested in their image than actually helping kids, and that brings me to tears.

The administration was terrible. They covered up sexual harassment and fights instead of helping the victims. There were some really good teachers, but overall it was a very bad school.
I love most of my teachers and how unique some of their teaching styles were. I always managed to learn what I needed to. However, I hope that the school would offer more preparation for college and adult lives. I also wished the school provided more challenging courses to help prepare for high school.
