Homelink is a great school for elementary and middle school students. But when it comes to the high school program, my opinion becomes a little shaky. Here, we have the option to take classes online, on-site, at a different school, at the Tri-Tech Skills Center, or through the Running Start program. This is something I love about the school and have no issues with. The freedom I’ve experienced here has been essential in preparing me for college. What I do have an issue with, is the administration. Misinformation and disorganization is rampant among them. The other thing to keep in mind is the lack of a social scene. With so few high school students (my graduating class is 11 people), it's hard to make friends. There are no clubs either. But on the brighter side of things, the teachers are generally very dedicated to their students and parent involvement is high. Even if you’re an offsite student, the teachers will know you by name.
Very welcoming and good STEAM program. But the high schooling sucked. Would recommend for elementary through middle school if you are fine with religious antivaxers as fellow families.
I loved going to Three Rivers HomeLink. My education was tailored to who I am, how I learn, and what my goals are. I was encouraged by the faculty constantly. The learning environment is amazing, I was encouraged to research what I was interested in and connect it to what I was learning.
