Thousand Oaks High School is an awesome school to attend. There are so many great things about TOHS. The bond between students, coaches, staff, teachers is amazing because it lets the students know that they are never alone and there is someone who will always be there for you. There is a vast majority of different academic options to get involved with. Advanced placement classes can be challenging but you have the amazing staff to guide you through the year to better understand the material. TOHS athletics plays agreat part in the school. We definitely know how to show school spirit when in attendance to any sporting event. The infamous Thousand Oaks High School green hole student section led by 4 seniors. They are known for their "I believe that we will win" chant that at the end student can be seen throwing handfuls of flour into the air. Students puta lot of fight into. Followed by the after game ritual which would be all going to toppers to celebrate win or loss TOHS IS FAMILY.

I wish I could go back and do a few things differently. With that being said, I am still pleased with the outcome of being a TOHS Lancer. You are guaranteed to have good support system (teachers, counselors, college counselors) if you go here. If you are someone that is even a tiny bit interested in business/entrepreneurship, I HIGHLY recommend for you to apply to the EThOS Academy. This academy begins freshman year and takes you all the way through your senior year. This program teaches you the ins and outs of running your own business, which you actually get to create one your senior year (yes... a real business). This was one of my favorite memories at TOHS because I was able to join a family within the family at TOHS. GO LANCERS!
Thousand Oaks High School is a school that fosters great academic improvement. It's school spirit is unmatched. The teachers are generally high caliber, and because of that completing classes will not only give you a good opportunity of reaching great higher education institutions, but a genuinely improved understanding of the world around you. Would highly recommend for an exceptional, safe and happy public school experience.
