Thoreau High School may be a small school in a small town, but it’s a pretty good school. Yes, the structure of the building is pretty old, but it’s somewhat manageable to go to school in. Academically, the classes are willing to take as long as you put in effort into your work. Sports, I would say are like any other school teams in the states, once you make the head coach got an eye on you, you’re staying on varsity no matter what. (More like favoritism)
Since Thoreau High School is a public school, students have to wear polo shirts with no hoodies and now they have to wear a lanyard with their student ID on it. Lunch and academics are also free! If I would change something about the school it would be remodeling the whole school because I would here complaints of water leakage coming through the ceiling every time it rains or snows.

I had a pretty good experience but some teachers made it a little difficult but otherwise they were very helpful and got me to graduate!
From Thoreau high school I liked how friendly some of the teachers were and I made great friends. Of course I didn't have much friends but they were true to me. It sucks not being in high school anymore and I feel lost but I'm trying to get myself into college by getting the money I need to go to school. I just wish college was as free as high school. Well the one thing that I wish to change from Thoreau high school is the food. Yes its great but it would be nice if some of the food was actually cooked and not frozen or heat up. It would be great if the students in Thoreau high school would have a nice breakfast with scrambled eggs, pancakes, and sizzling bacon but that would be great and it would have also remind me of elementary at Baca. That's all I have to say about Thoreau high school.
