The teachers are truly amazing and are always willing to help. Everyone has a wonderful school spirit. Game days are always fun and spirit week is always a blast to see because the teachers participate as well. They have some amazing classes you can take. Avid is a wonderful program and a lot of kids should take it. The only thing I would change is in class SAT practice so then more kids are able to improve scores throughout the year until the one that matters the most. It is always amazing to see the different sports they have here. My other school only had a few sports, but at Thompson there's a variety.

I have the upmost love and pride for TVHS. I had a truly marvelous experience. The staff all seemed to care about each and every student, were extremely helpful, and did everything in their power to help their students succeed. I was involved in so many clubs and programs, such as student council and NHS, and it was through them my leadership skills were shaped. The education and extracurricular activities truly shaped me into who I am today and I am forever grateful for my time there.
I believe everyone's experience here is vastly different. In mine, I enjoyed going here. The teachers are wonderful and care about their students very much. It is the oldest and most "run down" in the district, but the quality of staff makes up for it. The school does lots of thing to get students involved, such as fundraisers and tailgates at football games. I had no experience with bullying here. There is a lot of diversity between students and safety is taking very seriously here. Administration is okay, i'd like to see a Principle who connects more with staff and students though. Overall a good school.
