Thomas Jefferson is full of teachers and staff that care but they need help with funding. There are a lot of things to fix at that school whether its for laptops, helping students pay dues for sports or their senior year, but most importantly; the safety and maintenance in the school. If you visit the school, there is a lot of water damage and probably mold. Thomas Jefferson students are thankful for those who have come to paint murals and decorate the cafeteria but we need people in the higher up to help as well.
Thomas Jefferson also has the IB program which is known as one of if not the best educational programs in the world. The IB coordinator there is really determined but Im afraid the students and possibly some teachers are not as determined. I think the program should focus more on preparing students in the middle school IB program and students who enter their freshman year for the tests and big assignments they will have to complete their junior and senior year.

I enjoyed being a student at Thomas Jefferson High School for the past 4 years. I've been involved in many activities and the IB program there. Thomas Jefferson shaped me to be the best version of my self. I've had mixed emotions but always toughened out at the end. The work load for IB is rigorous but i'm positive it will be worth it to better my college experience. I'm so glad I go to Thomas Jefferson and wouldn't trade my experience for anything else!
As a high school student, I spent my four years at Thomas Jefferson High School. I choose to attend this high school only because my cousin was going there and i didn't want to attend Huguenot high school. I had a great time at that school, although this is my senior year and due to covid my senior experience is virtual i liked it. I met my best friend and boyfriend at this school. I had great teachers who loved to teach me and push me to due my best and the best counselor who was always in my corner. I cheer at this school and have been since my feshmen year and the girls i met on the team have became the sisters i have always wanted.
