Thomas Jefferson High School is a small, close knit school that offers their students College Level classes, educational and fun extracurricular actitivities and nurturing leadership to help students grow from children to productive young adults ready to enter college. It has been a positive place to learn and grow!
It is a small school, so the classroom setting is tightly-knit. Many teachers pour their heart and soul into teaching, but there are some who can slack off and degrade the experience. Overall, the school is greatly focused on achieving great academics, and it also has a great variety of extracurriculars.
Thomas Jefferson is a very good school academically. During my high school years I feel like I was able to openly discuss my grades and teachers were actually there for me. Although, yes, it’s not too diverse it is what you make it. If you do decide to enter this school just know this is a pretty small school compared to other like John Ehret, Higgins, etc
