TJ is pretty good at most things. There are a few stand out teachers and stand out programs if you know where to look. I would like to see TJ allow students to change the branding of the school as a whole. As one of the most diverse schools in WA, the mascot probably shouldn’t be a raider Calvary looking dude. Sometimes the admin will make decisions that drive you crazy but they don’t have much choice in the matter. TJ itself isn’t a bad school really I just believe that the School district could use a makeover. There legitimately are concerning aspects of TJ however, those concerns are being fixed up as several students have already spoken out about The treatment given to them and their peers, rules that seemingly only existed due to Racism, and better ways the school could use its money.

I'm currently attending Thomas Jefferson High School, and I can personally say that it has an amazing environment and I couldn't ask for a better school. The teachers that I've had in a range of different subjects from Chemistry, Pre-Calc, History, Piano they've all had my best interest at heart and any questions I have they're there to answer and just support me overall. The leadership team is really involved as well, they hold spirit weeks that are always lots of fun to participate in, and they always make the assemblies fun and interactive to the best of their ability.
I came to Thomas Jefferson for my third year of high school. I really appreciate the sincerity of the environment at the school. At Thomas Jefferson, there are diverse groups of people ranging from every category. All my teachers are nice and kind. The teachers make the effort to get the information to the students but most students, unfortunately, are always on their phones. I would have to say that the campus is in need of remodeling. Fortunately enough, the school is currently undergoing construction to rebuild and modernize.
