I personally love the school because it is a small school, so it has small classes. I love the teachers they are really easy to get along with if you stay on their good side. I'm not big on sports, but I do love the leadership classes and activities, like FFA and FCCLA. Thomas-Fay-Custer would be a great school for my kids to one day go too. Everybody can be helpful and encouraging, especially the teachers. One thing I do wish they would change would be letting the Seniors have their senior trip out of state. it would make a lot of the seniors more happy instead of upset because they feel like they have to do the same thing the last year seniors did.

Great teachers, decent sports teams, and located within a friendly town. I started school here only a few years ago and felt welcomed from the beginning.
Thomas-Fay-Custer Unified High School is a very small school. This school has all the benefits of a small school, but also all the negatives of a small school. There is plenty of gossip, and there are no secrets. Everybody knows everything. However, there is no such thing as a stranger. People will make you feel welcome if you are new. At first, it may be hard to fit in, but once you find your place you will have friends for life. The major advantage of going to this school is the Hazel Cross Scholarship. This scholarship is available to any high school graduate from Thomas-Fay-Custer Unified Schools. It helps students who wish to further their education, not only through college, but anyway that one wishes to receive post-high school education. This scholarship gives each student who applies thousands of dollars towards their education. I do not know of any other school that has a scholarship program like this.
