Thomas Downey was pretty good. The diversity made it so many people were accepted, and there was little bullying. While some of the teachers were a bit... controversial, most of them were great! Most of the real problems it had was due to the school system more than anything else. Problems like not maintaining equipment like the pool pumps, making sure the computer labs were properly equipped, or that they worked at all, or making really abrupt and improper changes, especially when it comes to "updating" technology, where they'll take away plenty of good computers and do who-knows-what with them, before they have replacements for them, and without teaching the teachers how to use them.

Overall my high school experience was really good. The sports team out here are really phenomenal especially the football teams which I have played all four of my years. However our school needs some work just like every other high school needs work, for example the food, toilet paper, and some of the teachers need to learn how to their job properly. Now I am not trying degrade the all the staff because we learn a college level at this school I really love the academics here but their are some teachers that just don't come prepare to do their job in opinion. Finally I would like to say I loved attending this school all four of years I met new people, and fun people while attending this school. I also met had some fun experiences while attending this school.
When I first started school here, I didn't have any trouble with the schooling at all, but regardless, the school had some unhygienic places. Most of the water fountains weren't kept clean most of the time, so drinking out of them was not an option. I understand that this may not interfere with my studies, but just an attempt to stay hydrated throughout the day is necessary. Some of the teachers who I had during my freshman year there are not teaching anymore, but those who stayed are good. They did not disappoint in their manner of teaching.
