Good school. Nice learning environment, makes everyone feel welcomed . You become a family once you step foot in the doors. The principal Shelly Powell is great & loves to see the students strive for greatness. Therrell have many opportunities of getting into college the counselors are good and always available to help! Also Therrell provides rigorous learning that will teach you and make you work harder. In other words , Therrell prepares you for college & is also a college-bound school. Excellence is everywhere throughout the hallways of DM Therrell High School.

D.M Therrell High School is the best Highschool you could ever attend. The school has the best principal ever and she has changed the school around so much. The principal herself and the staff care so much about students success, education is the top priority of this school. This school has so much clubs and activites that can lead you towards success. While at school I feel so safe at school.Therrell's sports are very outstanding especially there undeafeated basketball team.
When I first moved Atlanta everyone was saying that Therrell was the worst educational school in Atlanta. However if you really are in the schools environment you will see how hard the teachers work to get the students the education they need to succeed in high school. Even with few resources the school received so much academic achievement. I’m glad that I went to Therrell because without the support of the staff I probably would have missed the opportunity to attend Georgia Tech.
