I am an alumni of the school and am reflecting on my experience understanding what a school should and should not look like. Baldwinsville is an excellent district... this school is probably the worst school, though. Administration does not deal with sexual assault on campus appropriately and does not seem to hold teachers and administrators accountable for inappropriate behavior. The food and facilities are very outdated. The school is notorious for being like a "prison." The lighting is so dull and the lack of windows and tall walls make it miserable. There are a few AMAZING teachers, and they almost make up for the amount of dull, mean, and narcissistic educators in the building. I love the district and am a proud alumni. I like to overlook my 2 years in this building.
Some teachers are good at this school and are passionate about what they do, others are honestly terrible and miss excess of 20 days a school year. The whole place is dark it would be really nice if they replaced there lights.. Bathroom definitely need to be torn out and redone as they are absolutely dirty and disgusting.. The gymnasium needs to be redone as it looks like one from the 80's. They need to plant more trees and put more work into the landscaping around the school as it's really bare outside of the school. I have met some really great people here, it's really split here at this school. Half of the people that go here are good decent people, and the other half is complete losers. I wish they put a lot more money into making this school look much nicer because as of right now it really is the low point out of all the district schools.
It's just a normal, average school. There's nothing super special about it that makes it stand out above the rest.
